If life had not done a turnaround on Bart Millard, we would have been robbed of a tremendous spiritual blessing. Life did an about-face on the singer and songwriter of “I Can Only Imagine” when he was in high school. For most of his childhood, Bart was abused by his father physically, mentally and emotionally. In an attempt to appease his father, Bart decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and excel in football hoping this would be the antidote for the abuse. However, as fate would have it, his dream of becoming a football star was dashed when Bart sustained an injury while playing ball.

Now, Bart needed another course that would fit his new lifestyle (non-physical). As it happened, the only class available was glee club, a music class. Bart did not cherish the idea of being associated with a music class. Hoping he would be excused from the course, he lied about his ability to sing. Nonetheless, the music teacher accepted him into the class and gave him an assignment which leads to discovering his singing ability. Because of his gift, he was given the leading role in the school’s musical. Unbeknown to him at the time, this was the beginning of a new career for Bart and the medium by which he would bless countless lives around the world. Why? Because of a “Life Turnaround!”

God is turning someone’s life around right now. The path you are on will not lead you to your preordained destination. God is rerouting you. Everything looks and feels strange. It’s uncomfortable. You are unsure, but it’s all God. You might be feeling like the caterpillar when its body is transforming into a butterfly. Awkward, in a tight space, but necessary. Don’t get stuck in the middle, let nature take its course. You will soon soar to heights you’ve never “IMAGINED.” RELAX and let life turn you around.
