It’s that time of year when we observe the birth of our Lord and Savior. What a year it has been! The world and our lives have changed forever due to a pandemic that blanketed the earth. However, this is not the first time the world changed. Over two thousand years ago, the people of that day witnessed an unprecedented night which we can dub a “great conjunction.” Heaven and earth rejoiced when Mary laid her precious baby Jesus in a manger in Bethlehem. The world would never be the same.

It was a glorious night, a silent night, a joyful night, a peaceful night, and a night filled with hope. Generations have come and gone, but the wonders of that night remain. Even with all that we have experienced this year, let’s do like the shepherds on that unforgettable night and rejoice over the marvelous things we know about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Juniper and Saturn closeness maybe a “great conjunction,” but the “most splendid conjunction” is heaven and earth adoring her King.
