“Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits…” Psalm 103:1-2.

As children of God, we are endowed with benefits far beyond anything our earthly employers could offer. Our heavenly Father has granted us many glorious rewards. Consider these:

• When you are ill, Jehovah Rapha is your healer. Isaiah 53:5

• When you are falsely accused, you have an advocate, Jesus Christ the Righteous One. 1 John 2:1

• When you can’t make ends meet, Jehovah Jireh is your Provider. Matthew 6:25-26

• When you are perplexed or unsure, Jehovah Shalom is your Peace. Philippians 4:7

• When you are feeling low or downhearted, Jesus is the Lifter of your head. Psalm 3:3

• When you feel all alone, Jesus is your constant Companion. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5

• When you are burdened and heavy laden, Jesus will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

• When you need to feel loved, your heavenly Father assures you of His everlasting love.  Jeremiah 31:3

When we meditate on the benefits of being in Christ, we have nothing to be concerned about. RELAX and RECEIVE them!

“Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Psalm 103:1-5
