Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, 

I will be exalted in the earth!  Psalm 46:10

When the sons of Korah penned this portion of the Psalter, I am sure they had no idea that it would bless the spirit of man for many centuries to come. Yesterday, election day, I was meditating on the troubles of this world and how it’s waxing worse and worse. Later, I heard very clearly in my spirit, “Be still, and know that I am God.” I reached for my Bible and went directly to Psalm 46. When I read, “I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth,” the words seemingly jumped off the page. They were so powerful and alive that tears began to form in my eyes. 

God Words were speaking so real to my heart. The Rhema Word stirred in my spirit. I could hear the Lord saying, “No matter what happens at the polls today, I WILL BE EXALTED in this country and around the world.” These words wrapped around me like a baby’s blanket and my spirit man began to sing. 

The thing I like about God’s “I Will’s,” He has the power and authority to back them up. Not like Lucifer who speaks bold and loud, but cannot perform.

Dear heart, no matter what the results are after the election, whether the Democrats or Republicans control the Senate or the House, God has declared that He will be exalted. Yes, we have to do our due diligence (vote), However, we can’t comprehend the plans of God. That is, we don’t know how God will work all things together so that this country (USA) and all the nations around the world will know without a doubt that He is God. I don’t know about you, but my sleep was sweet last night.

I will admonish you to “Be Still” and know that we have a God who is in charge of all things including governments.

Let’s reread it, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge” Selah (Psalm 46:10-11).

Pause and think on this!
