“Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits…”Psalm 103:1-2.

As children of God, we are endowed with benefits far beyond anything our earthly employers could offer. Our heavenly Father has granted us many glorious rewards. Consider these:

• When we are ill, Jehovah Rapha is our healer. Isaiah 53:5
• When we are falsely accused, we have an advocate, Jesus Christ the Righteous One. 1 John 2:1
• When we can’t make ends meet, Jehovah Jireh is our Provider. Matthew 6:25-26
• When we are perplexed or unsure, Jehovah Shalom is our Peace. Philippians 4:7
• When we are feeling low or downhearted, Jesus is the Lifter of our heads. Psalm 3:3
• When we feel all alone, Jesus is our constant Companion. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Hebrews 13:5
• When we are burdened and heavy laden, Jesus will give us the rest we need. Matthew 11:28
• When we need to know that we are loved, our heavenly Father assures us that we are loved with an everlasting love.  Jeremiah 31:3

When we meditate on the benefits of being in Christ, we have nothing to be concerned or worried about. RELAX and RECEIVE them!

“Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits, Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”

Psalm 103:1-5
